This beautiful memory quilt was created to celebrate the life of a motorcycle instructor for the CHP. He loved motorcycles of all kinds and collected motorcycle shirts. He also liked tie-dye shirts which we used for the edging of the quilt.
We are a mother-daughter team who started Beary Huggables as a tribute to a relative we lost. Pop Pop had 7 great-grandchildren who loved and cherished him. We collected some of his shirts and made them each a bear to celebrate him.
We’ve also made bears to celebrate birthdays, weddings, school years, sports teams, baby showers, pregnancies and many more life experiences. Some of our bears have offered cuddly comfort to families who have a lovedone away on business or in the active military.

I absolutely LOVE my four bears! They are such quality work and you can feel the love put into them! My children love them too! Thank you so much! I wasn’t sure why I was saving both garments until I saw what you do at Beary Huggables, then I knew why I had saved them. With my deepest appreciation.

I wanted to thank you so much for the bear that you made out of my mom’s shirt. I can totally see her in that shirt. What a very special keepsake.

Your idea to create bears and pillows using the belongings of someone who has past brings comfort to grieving family members. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
The “musketeer” bears will be enjoyed by my sister in law, her grandson, and granddaughter. I am sure the bears will assist them during the healing process.
